What is Discern Academy?
Discern Academy is an open and go, online English Language Arts platform for 6-12th Grade students.
This full ELA curriculum is taught by a 35-year teaching veteran, Dr. Amy Hodgson, PhD whose students have a track record of
dozens 36/36 ACT test scores on the English and reading sections.
Students read physical novels and are taught in an online, self paced format with interactive lectures and all assignments included and graded.
Discern Academy's platform requires zero work from the parents. All the books
are personally vetted and chosen by Dr. Hodgson, all the assignments are graded and
the video presentation format is one-on-one.
On top of all that, the videos are interactive, keeping students engaged while still being self
paced. Parents and students also get detailed access to student progress
and grades when they complete their assignments.
